Technician Dashboard
A private workspace for the Ten-8 team to view appointments, review service history, save appointment updates, and create Square invoices.

One Workspace For Each Technician
Ten-8 Dryer Vent Cleaning operates the Ten-8 Technician Dashboard for its owner and approved technicians. Technicians sign in using their approved email address and an emailed code. Each technician is assigned a Google Calendar; the owner can manage the authorized company calendars.
How Google Calendar Is Used
The owner connects the company’s Google account using Google authorization. The dashboard reads the calendar list to identify company calendars and reads appointment titles, times, locations, and descriptions to display scheduled work and customer contact details. All-day events are excluded from the appointment schedule.
When an authorized user saves an appointment, the dashboard updates Frequency, Amount, Email, and Notes in that event’s description. Service selections and discount details are stored separately by the dashboard. Google Calendar access is used to support these scheduling and service tasks.
Customer History And Invoices
The dashboard looks up completed-service history in Airtable by service address. This helps technicians see earlier visits, service frequencies, amounts, and notes, including visits completed by other technicians.
Authorized users can prepare Square invoices using the appointment’s customer details, selected services, quantities, and discounts. A deliberate invoice action creates the invoice; email delivery can send it to the customer. Text delivery uses a payment link shared or sent by the technician. Square processes payments. The separate Pay Now action saves changes and opens the Square app for the technician to enter the sale.
